Intermittent Errors on Self-Service
Incident Report for RightScale
Some users may have experienced intermittent 503 errors when trying to use Self-Service on shard 4 only. The errors began shortly before 6am PST and were completely resolved by 6:09am PST February 20th, 2017. The problems were due to some backend instances that had become unresponsive and had to be replaced by our team. The Engineering Team is looking into adding additional automation to ensure no downtime during this type of situation in the future.
