In order to ensure continuity of service, a new security certificate was deployed to our SSO identity endpoint on the afternoon of July 20, 2017. Although the key remains the same, it has come to our attention that some Identity Providers fail to authenticate until they have been updated with our new public certificate.
Please verify that your identity provider connections to RightScale are still operational, and if not please follow the procedure with your identity provider to update the RightScale public x509 certificate, which can be found at the link below. Alternatively, you can also instruct your identity provider to retrieve our Service Provider (SP) metadata URL again, which should contain the most up-to-date certificate.
